Where Hezbollah played it smart

People took to the streets tonight in Tripoli, the so-called “Sunni capital”(according to some politicians).  Burnt tires, blocked roads, protests, maybe even clashes between Saad Hariri and pro-Syrian Najib Mikati’s supporters. They are both running for Prime Minister, both Sunni.

Divide et impera, as the Romans said.  Divide and conquer. I can say hats off to Hezbollah. While people were expecting clashes in Sunni-Shia neighborhoods, it seems they exported the anger in the Sunni areas. Nicely done, boys.
